As the Member of Parliament for Elgin-Middlesex-London, I am pleased to offer my support and congratulations to the new owners of the Elgin Innovation Centre who have undertaken a bold initiative in converting one million square feet of office and warehouse space into a facility for job creating, innovative businesses and community services.
My office is welcoming inquiries from entrepreneurs who are interested in starting up or relocating to this facility, which includes business support programs through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.
Small and medium enterprises are the backbone of our regional economy and the Canadian economy at large. With an industrious workforce, a thriving community, and a large and accessible market, Elgin County has established itself as a prime place to invest and grow a business and we encourage and support those businesses coming to the Elgin Innovation Centre.
